DB Tech siliguri (MORD-BASE) has successfully completed four batches and has made an average placement of 85% in all the three domains. Now Siliguri center is going ahead with the 5th Batch with 120 numbers of students.
The inauguration of the 5th batch mord BASE programme was held on 7thnov 2011 at Salesian college siliguri campus. The auspicious occasion was graced by lightening of lamps by Chief guest Rev Father MA Joseph and Guest of Honour Fr Babu Joseph. Trainers sang the hymn to invoke the god blessings as the guests and our cluster coordinator lighted the lamps. After this center in charge Fr Mathew George welcomed and addressed the crowd with a wonderful speech .Even our chief guests ,guest of Honor and cluster co-coordinator-Mr. Sanjib Chakraborty delivered a thought provoking speech to motivate the trainees.
In order to give a clear picture of the BASE project there was a screening of short documentary films (meri zindaji mera jimmadari) based on the MORD base programme.Apart from this the candidates of the previous four batches shared their experiences of DBTECH days and current jobs to provide in more realistic and first hand information regarding the project. The best part was lot of parents were present and participated in the programme.Parents and guardians interacted with the trainers; cleared all the doubts and expressed their gratitude towards DBTECH.
At the end , there was an arrangement of lunch for all the trainees and parents.All of us enjoyed the lunch thoroughly and then trainees went to their respective hostels and parents went back home with a smiling face.
