With great pleasure we’d like to inform you that, alike previous batches we had arranged an inaugural ceremony on the occasion of commencement of the 5th Batch of MoRD project on 24th November 2011 in our center. But this time we have surpassed all previous records in compare to other inauguration ceremonies.
This inauguration ceremony was very special to us from several points of view. First of all, this batch of MoRD Project is likely the last batch of this project in our center. A new pilot project with Confederation of India Industries (CII) too was launched in Krishnagar. The ITI students with their trainers too participated in the programme.
The Hall was prepared with meticulous care. The newly recruited trainees themselves put their hand in helping the oldies. The program started with a special welcome song sung by ITI tailoring trainer, Mr. Prandhan Biswas & his group followed by the inaugural speech of Fr. Rector. He highlighted the brief history of Don Bosco Society & the importance of this vocational training in recent times. After that some stage show was performed by MoRD & ITI candidates respectively. They entertained everyone very well, besides they had shown their talent in different segment & made all spectators stunned. Apart from these performances, Fr. Mani, the center in charge of our center, Mr. Tripurari Dutta, the centre coordinator & the most senior instructor of ITI School, Mantu Sir lectured about the MoRD project & welcomed all the newcomers. In addition to that, they addressed the strict rules & regulations of this glorious school which is being carried forward right from the journey of this institute with an impressive record.
The cluster coordinator Mr. Sanjib Chakroborty addressed the assembly giving the details of the training that they are beginning. In the later part of the day he shared some “does & don’ts” of job sector with them so that they can overcome possible difficulties during their turn. Having spent some quality time with the aspirants he was feeling overwhelmed. Therefore, we were also feeling quite lucky to have him in this occasion.
At the conclusion of the program, superintendent of our school, Fr. Mani thanked everyone relating to this event to make it so special & effective. He anticipated that each & every student of this batch will pursue their course with utmost sincerity & will get a good placement after the successful completion of the batch upholding all the rules similar to other batches. Not only is that he prayed all success to their lives.
