Sharmistha Jana aged 21 years, was simple and shy lady who used to live a normal life of villager. At the very young age she got married and settled herself with her husband in a small village of 24 Pgns(S) named Kalagachia. Though she was very ambitious about her career she could not fulfill it because of the family situation .
Sharmistha’s husband works as a shopkeeper in the locality and hence financial crisis was an obvious situation. The day she learned that Nitika Don Bosco was providing free hospitality course and job placement linkage, she could not stop herself and with the support of her husband came to take admission in our 4th Batch which started on 16th Aug’2011.
Her interest and efficiency helped her to be selected in Cookery domain. As per her trainer she was regular in class, attentive and active. Beyond the expectation of the trainers she excelled in her domain.
Her days of pain and longing for career opportunities were paid back in flying colors when she was interviewed in KFC and at once selected for the same. In her words she only required the wings to fly and Nitika Don Bosco had provided her that wing to come out of her shell. Though she had joined with the minimum salary as counter personnel she is determined to find herself as a good chef in one of the reputed hotel industry.
